The Z3 was the first BMW roadster to success. The Z3 was the first vehicle designed and completed in just 36 months. It was also the first BMW vehicle to be built outside Germany. Indeed Z3 were manufactured in the United States at the factory in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The last of the Z3 was built in Spartanburg June 28, 2002. Production began seven years ago in autumn 1995. The first vehicles were delivered to their buyers in May 1996, and 15 000 Z was built in 1996. The launch vehicle was emphasized by the choice of Z3 as a vehicle of James Bond in the movie Goldeneye, in 1995. Pierce Brosnan in the role of "007", driving a 1.9 model. In April 1999, the emergency vehicles signed "M" were born (see below). During the seven years of production, nearly 300 Z3 000 cars were produced and broadcast in 120 countries.
